Hardware Manufacturer Support

IR Receiver Support
USB-UIRT (available at our Online Store) is fully integrated for receive and transmit into SageTV.
The Irman from Evation is fully integrated to control SageTV.
IR Blaster Support
IR transmitters such as the Actisys IR-200L (available at our Online Store) and the USB-UIRT mentioned above. Use of the transmit functionality of the USB-UIRT with SageTV v1.4 requires an update.
Some satellite boxes can be controlled through the use of a serial cable. With version 1.3 or
earlier you will need the appropriate DLL file and the third party software Girder or DTVCon from PCMX.net. Version 1.4 does not require the additional software for DirecTV serial control.
Some Motorola DCT2000 cable boxes can also be controlled through the use of a serial cable. More information.
IOData "Avel LinkPlayer2" HD capable media player allows you to play back recorded TV from SageTV. Requires installation of the LinkPlayer2 software on your PC.
Buffalo LinkTheater HD capable media player allows you to play back recorded TV from SageTV. Requires installation of the LinkTheater software on your PC.
